HWI CEO Susan Nancarrow said \u201cThe incorporated company will take over the role commenced by the Allied Health Assistant Network of Australia and is the first step in creating a self-regulating professional body recognising the contribution of allied health assistants in the health sector. HWI will support AHANA in this start-up phase by assisting with developing its strategic plan, providing governance direction to its new directors and developing a membership framework to be implemented in the new financial year\u201d.
